FacilitationFacilitation of meetings, workshops and circle work

When conflict or tension in a team is becoming a barrier to effective communication and decision making, conflict facilitators can help. Our facilitation is underpinned by a philosophy of self-organisation, so that individuals and teams operate more effectively as a work group and rely less on the intervention of an experienced and accredited facilitator in future.
Impartial Consulting and Problem Solving starts with an initial conversation to enable us to understand the issues a team is experiencing, what the client or team would like to achieve, and to explain how we work. If we agree to work together, we will arrange a meeting with the members of the group (or a representative sample of the group) where they can ask questions and we get to know the group and learn how the group functions together
Leadership Team Effectiveness can help when a leadership team has limited time for meeting together. Our facilitators will support team members to ensure that they stay focused on topic, participate actively in the discussion, deal effectively with difficult issues and contribute to the decision making process.
Team Developmental Facilitation helps to avoid teams getting stuck over recurrent issues. Our facilitation focuses on supporting the group members to find creative ways that they can communicate with each other constructively. The group will learn about the factors that may be contributing to their issues and help them design a way of working that satisfies the group members’ interests, as well as the goals and tasks of the team.
Process Facilitation focuses on a specific issue, such as making an important budgetary decision. The decision-making process requires the input and contribution of all members so that the final decision can be supported by the group. The group may have a specific deadline and half-a-day or a day to come together and think through the key issues. In these circumstances the group (or groups of) members are often less interested to learn about how to improve the way they communicate and make decisions and are usually more focused on the decision itself.
